Introduction

Located in Dongsheng Coal Field, Talahao Mine is under the jurisdiction of Talahao County, Dongsheng District, Erdos City. Covering an area of 42.6208 km², the coal mine has recoverable coal reserves of 858,940,000 tons on December 31^st, 2017 according to the assessment of the Ministry of Land and Resources. There are 6 minable seams and the recoverable coal is mainly non-caking coal and long flame coal that features low-ash , ultra-low phosphorus and low sulphur. The coal mine plans to use comprehensive mechanical technology with inclined/vertical well for the coal recovery operation.
