Hongjingta No. 1 Coal Mine is located in Dongsheng Coal Field, under the jurisdiction of Narisong County, Jungar Banner, Erdos City. It was officially put into production on August 12th, 2007 after the resources integration and technical reformation. Covering an area of 28.4145 km², the coal mine has recoverable reserves of 100,560,000 tons as of December 31st, 2017, according to the assessment of the Ministry of Land and Resources and the resources the company has consumed for the production. The coal mine has two major coal seams of 2.4~5.7 meters thick . The calorific value of the high quality coal produced is 5,100~5,500 kilocalorie/kg. The coal mine adopts inclined/vertical well and full-seam mining long wall method comprehensive mechanical coal recovery technology.
